Tranzact, Inc. was founded in 1984 to focus on the sale of refractory metals and alloys to the foundry, steel, high-alloy, and other industries. Primary, but not exclusive, emphasis is in the tungsten, molybdenum, chromium, and tantalum markets, and covers a wide array of product types within those market categories.

Through comprehensive knowledge of our customer's requirements and capabilities, and an in depth understanding of metallurgical practices and materials use, we have been able to introduce numerous lower cost and innovative products, many of which have become industry standards over the years. This approach to the business was a cornerstone of Tranzact, Inc.'s foundation, and continues to be an enduring principle today.

The company maintains high material quality and customer service standards through the maintenance of its own storage and processing facility, and the employment of highly skilled and experienced staff and modern equipment.
